Change Is In The Air

Out of boredom more than anything else, I decided to have a play about with some website designs yesterday. I’m a little bit bored of how this site looks, and I decided I wanted something that looked a little more professional. Whether or not anything will come of it, I don’t know.

Wanted. Dead Or Alive.

Well, well, well. Apparently, albeit four months late, Microsoft has put a reward of $250,000 up for grabs for information regarding the creators of the Conficker worm. You might remember about a month ago we suffered from an attack by that particular worm, that put our business out of action for a solid week. Even now we’re still getting the odd infected PC show up.

Roll On The Weekend…

“…three lightyears, two lightyears, one lightyear… coming, ready or not!”

It’s Friday again! This week seems to have gone rather quickly, much as they all tend to do these days. Bring out the flags (to burn them!)

After the litle rant yesterday about how certain groups take advantage of the good nature of general British society and law, I read this article on the BBC News website about certain Muslim prisoners in the UK. I also had a quick conversation with someone yesterday, who was telling me about how there have been instances of Muslim prisoners being given new clothes and new bed-spreads because sniffer dogs had touched their belongings during routine cell searches.

Yarrr, Me Harties!

I know, I know, I’m a week late. International Talk Like A Pirate Day was last Friday. But do you know what reminded me? This story from the BBC News website. I was amazed recently, as I didn’t actually realise that real-life pirates existed. I suppose it’s a bit silly when you think about it, but the only time I ever hear of pirates is while drooling over Keira Knightley in Pirates Of The Carribean. (You know, after the many offers that Jack Sparrow extended to Elizabeth Swan during those films, you would have thought that at least once she would have taken him up on the offer to wear nothing from his wardrobe…)
