That’s right – I’ve taken Monday and Tuesday off work so that I can sit in a chair and play Star Trek Online all day, every day, for the next four days, starting right after work tonight!

The open beta for Star Trek Online goes live tonight at 6pm GMT – and I’m almost downloaded, installed, and ready to go!

Christ, it’s been nearly two weeks since I last posted. Then again, I guess I’ve had a lot to do and haven’t really had time to do much of anything.

I can’t believe that it’s only three weeks until Christmas! It seems like just yesterday a friend was reminding me that Christmas is “only six weeks away”, and now it’s practically here. I’ve been gloating about how organised I’ve been on the Christmas presents front, but in reality most people have started to buy them by now anyway!

It always seems like I blog on a Friday. Maybe that’s because people are winding down for the week and preparing for the work they’ll have to do come Monday, or maybe everyone’s just excited about the weekend. I know I am, but not for any particular reason.

Yep, that’s right, it’s that tiome of the week again!
It’s been a strange week this week. Firstly, I’ve had to “babysit” some cats for a family member of mine. They went away to Florida last weekend and I’ve been lumbered with the task of looking after their animals for the next two weeks, so things have been a little upside-down and inside-out for me.

Went to see The Fourth Kind at the weekend. And despite what you may or may not have read about how authentic it is, it certainly creeped me out. Anything to do with aliens and UFOs creeps me out a little bit, but still, I love it all. I used to be into UFOs and aliens as a kid, and the fascination is still there.
