That’s right, it’s that time of the year again, and probably for the last time. It’s the start of Big Brother! Here in the UK, it’s the 11th main Big Brother series, and Channel 4 have dropped the show so this will be the last time it’s likely to run on UK TV (at least for the foreseeable future).

Finally! A new episode of Lie To Me is being broadcast in the USA tonight, with it being shown in the UK on Thursday. I love that series, and with 24, Lost and Heroes never to return, Lie To Me is one of the few TV shows that I watch that is still being made.

I decided to open a blast from the past this week – Google Wave. Well, I say “past”, but it was only six or seven months ago that I last used it.

So, crazy as I must be, I got up at 5am this morning to watch the series finale of Lost. And I have to say, that although I didn’t entirely understand it at first, I wasn’t disappointed.

“I’m not leaving the island…”
Well, I read this weekend that NBC (or ABC, or whoever) has cancelled a couple of TV shows that I was quite fond of – Scrubs and FlashForward. Fond of them though I might have been, it comes as no surprise to me that they’ve been cancelled.

Wow, I managed two whole posts last month. That must be a new record for this year! I’m not sure that today is the best day to be publishing another blog post, as my caffeine levels are high and sleep levels are low, which usually means I’ll end up rambling in some nonsensical way.
Nothing new there then.

Just a quick post to say that the UKTA Radio timeslot has been moved from Monday to Friday nights!

I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I last posted. I guess that’s what happens when not a lot out of the ordinary happens (or perhaps when you find yourself playing a certain PC game a little bit more than you should do…)

I’ve spent the last three working days drawing diagrams for webpages. Which actually makes a change, seeing as the beginning of the week was pretty stressful. So drawing pretty pictures for the rest of the week was actually not bad.

I know I said I’d post my thoughts on the iPad at a later date, with today being one such later date, but I’ve been so busy playing silly games and buying ridiculously over-sized monitors that I haven’t had the time.
