“…just a little bit…”
I’ve spent the last three working days drawing diagrams for webpages. Which actually makes a change, seeing as the beginning of the week was pretty stressful. So drawing pretty pictures for the rest of the week was actually not bad.

I’m in a bit of a bad mood this morning. Being late for work through no fault of my own is starting to piss me off as much as it probably pisses off the Powers That Be. Is it that hard to find a decent cab company these days? Disorganisation is the name of their game, baby!

Again…
I hate Mondays. I hate each Monday more than the last, I think. Especially if things don’t go so well, like today. Things haven’t gone badly, they just haven’t gone particularly well either.

It’s that time again… Monday morning. It wasn’t so bad last week, with the bank holiday and all, but today it’s back to the same old stuff. Boooo! I need more sleep, I says!

I’ve noticed a surge in users who’ve registered on the site lately, although nobody seems to comment on anything, so I’m starting to think that they’re just spam bots. But if not – hello to you all!

Remember that post I made a few months ago, telling you all how I thought that the lines between work time and play time would blur because of technology, and how people will start to suffer because of it? Well apparently I’m not the only one who thinks it.

Ahh, Friday – the best day of all of them. It’s just a shame there’s only one a week!

At first I was going to complain about the sudden bad weather that seems to be going on as I look out the office window. But then I thought, “well I’m glad it’s horrible now, while I’m stuck in an office, than at the weekend when I’d be out and about”. I just realised that people (myself included) seem to whine about the bad weather whenever it appears, regardless of whether it’s convenient or not. So, I’d like to say that I’m happy that it was nice this weekend, and now that I’m in an office, it’s not so nice. Better that than the other way round.

Christmas tree update – it’s down! It only took two solid months, but our Christmas tree has finally been taken down. I personally wanted to see it stay up until March at least, but apparently it was just too big not to notice, and someone took it upon themselves to stick it back up into the loft. Perhaps we’ll break the record next year.

Modern-day jobs (or more accurately, careers) have far too much stress for my liking. It’s no wonder people burn themseves out by the age of 30, especially the logic-oriented professions that usually involve computers.
