I know I’ve said this a fair bit recently, but sorry for the lack of updates and/or blog posts and/or mixes lately. Other things have just gotten in the way!

To be honest, I’ve not used IE since Firefox came out, so I’m probably going to struggle to see the difference between IE8 and IE9. Still, like most good developers, I’ll be downloading the beta and trying it out. It’s also handy to see in advance whether the websites you’ve built are compatible.

I remember posting about Google Wave last year, and how excited I was about the whole idea. Now, it seems, Google have decided that it wasn’t as popular as they’d have hoped it would be, and pulled the plug on it.

It’s been ages since I wrote any kind of blog post, so I figured, while at lunch here at work, that I should probably make an effort.

I can’t remember how long it’s been since a major version of WordPress came out. There was the upgrade from 2.0 to 2.5, and then to 2.6, each bringing new features and whatnot, but now 3.0 is finally out of beta, and I’m using it right now, baby!

Wow, I managed two whole posts last month. That must be a new record for this year! I’m not sure that today is the best day to be publishing another blog post, as my caffeine levels are high and sleep levels are low, which usually means I’ll end up rambling in some nonsensical way.
Nothing new there then.

I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I last posted. I guess that’s what happens when not a lot out of the ordinary happens (or perhaps when you find yourself playing a certain PC game a little bit more than you should do…)

It always seems like I blog on a Friday. Maybe that’s because people are winding down for the week and preparing for the work they’ll have to do come Monday, or maybe everyone’s just excited about the weekend. I know I am, but not for any particular reason.
