“Hello, Ofcom? I’d like to complain about a radio programme I haven’t heard, on which comments were made about a person I don’t know…. What?…. Turn off my radio if I dont like it? That’s preposterous!”
I didn’t mention this before, because quite frankly I couldn’t give a flying monkey’s brass ones, but as I’m sure everyone has heard by now, Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross have been the centre of attention these last few days.

After posting a random thread on the bestest intertube forum on the (dot)net, I got a whole load of awesome banners to put up on the site. As you probably already noticed, I decided to put them all online and create a banner rotator that will load a banner at random whenever the page is loaded. So a big thanks to Steve, FC, Sammo, and Mikeynma for their efforts!

Bring out the flags (to burn them!)
After the litle rant yesterday about how certain groups take advantage of the good nature of general British society and law, I read this article on the BBC News website about certain Muslim prisoners in the UK. I also had a quick conversation with someone yesterday, who was telling me about how there have been instances of Muslim prisoners being given new clothes and new bed-spreads because sniffer dogs had touched their belongings during routine cell searches.

“Back in my day, we had respect for our elders. And we went outside to play with our friends, not sit at a computer…”
I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before; the lifestyle that us youngsters lead these days will ruin our health before we turn 40. I can feel it already. Most days I don’t get enough sleep and wake up for work with a headache of sorts. Aches and pains get more common, stresses of the professional environment build up… the list is endless. I used to get heartburn quite badly a couple of years ago, but thankfully it’s all but disappeared these days.

Speak now, or forever hold your… beep!
It’s Wednesday – slap bang in the middle of the working week. The time of the week when people are (supposed to be) well and truly stuck into the weeks work; where they’ve had a couple of days to get started and should be making progress; but where they know they’ve still got a couple of days to go until the weekend. But as it happens, that’s not the case for me this week. Oh no. Today is my last day at work this week, as I’ll be travelling to Bristol to attend a friend’s wedding.
