Af’noon all!
I can’t even remember the last time I actually had time to write a blog post, but then again I guess that’s what happens when you’ve got a lot going on at work (and you only ever waste time writing blog posts at work!)

At first I was going to complain about the sudden bad weather that seems to be going on as I look out the office window. But then I thought, “well I’m glad it’s horrible now, while I’m stuck in an office, than at the weekend when I’d be out and about”. I just realised that people (myself included) seem to whine about the bad weather whenever it appears, regardless of whether it’s convenient or not. So, I’d like to say that I’m happy that it was nice this weekend, and now that I’m in an office, it’s not so nice. Better that than the other way round.

Just a quick note to say happy Easter! (I know it’s not technically Easter yet, but as it’ll be a four-day weekend for me this week, I figured I probably won’t be blogging until Tuesday or something).

Well it’s been a bit of a hectic week. A hectic couple, actually. I haven’t really had time to blog, especially now that I’m the sole web developer at work. I actually have to work for my money! But I soldier on!

Miraculously, despite the 20 days off work I booked last week, I’ve still got about 8 days of holiday left this year. Five are from this year’s quota, and three are left over from last year. I decided to take a few days this week, so I’ll only be at work for two days this week!

For some strange reason, I decided to go to bed a bit later than usual last night. I know that if I do, I’ll have no energy the following day (and sure enough I haven’t) but I still do it on occasion.

The best day of the week is here, and better still – my manager is on annual leave. I can’t believe I’ve not made a blog post since Monday… it’s almost as if I’ve had things to do at work!

Modern-day jobs (or more accurately, careers) have far too much stress for my liking. It’s no wonder people burn themseves out by the age of 30, especially the logic-oriented professions that usually involve computers.

Well, after having a couple of days with no snow, it seems to have started up again. We were all told that we should expect some more snow by the weekend, but it seems to have started a day early. Unfortunately, I already made it into work, and I could possibly be stranded here if the buses aren’t running tonight.
