It’s been ages since I wrote any kind of blog post, so I figured, while at lunch here at work, that I should probably make an effort.

I’ve been neglecting this blog a little bit lately, so apologies for that. I’ve actually been a little bit busy working on some web-related projects that I’ve been meaning to build for some time now. For the last few weeks I’ve spent a lot of my time connected to my home PC building a website. It’s coming along quite nicely, and I’ve not got bored of it yet either!

I can’t believe it’s been over a month since I last posted. I guess that’s what happens when not a lot out of the ordinary happens (or perhaps when you find yourself playing a certain PC game a little bit more than you should do…)

I’ve spent the last three working days drawing diagrams for webpages. Which actually makes a change, seeing as the beginning of the week was pretty stressful. So drawing pretty pictures for the rest of the week was actually not bad.

…and it’s started like any other – a grey sky and a loud whinge as I have to drag my sleepy carcass out of bed!

OK, so it’s been a while since I posted last, but then again, it’s been a while since I had the time!
Christ, it’s been nearly two weeks since I last posted. Then again, I guess I’ve had a lot to do and haven’t really had time to do much of anything.

“So this is Christmas…”
I can’t believe that it’s only three weeks until Christmas! It seems like just yesterday a friend was reminding me that Christmas is “only six weeks away”, and now it’s practically here. I’ve been gloating about how organised I’ve been on the Christmas presents front, but in reality most people have started to buy them by now anyway!

Yep, that’s right, it’s that tiome of the week again!
It’s been a strange week this week. Firstly, I’ve had to “babysit” some cats for a family member of mine. They went away to Florida last weekend and I’ve been lumbered with the task of looking after their animals for the next two weeks, so things have been a little upside-down and inside-out for me.

According to the BBC, being miserable is good for you. Although I could have told them that, it’s good to see someone else confirm it. The article basically says that being in a bad mood puts your brain into a better state for processing information and analyzing situations more effectively. Which would explain why our bosses don’t seem to mind all the stress we have to endure…
