Finally! A new episode of Lie To Me is being broadcast in the USA tonight, with it being shown in the UK on Thursday. I love that series, and with 24, Lost and Heroes never to return, Lie To Me is one of the few TV shows that I watch that is still being made.

There are a couple of others still on the go, though. Smallville (which isn’t brilliant), Weeds, True Blood, Fringe and Stargate Universe are about the only ones left. Thinking about it, I do wonder how Smallville has survived for nearly 10 years, with mediocre acting and storylines, and yet programmes like Dollhouse get cancelled. Then again, some say Dollhouse was badly written and badly performed.
