Devastating news – I’ve lost my gym trainers. I went hunting for them this morning, expecting to find them in the fridge or something, but I did’nea find them. I’m thinking that I left them at the gym on Thursday, so I’m going to pop down tonight and have a hunt round for them. Anyone in their right mind would just stay well away from them if I did actually leave them there, so hopefully they wont have gone walkies. I think I need some new ones anyway, and as I’ve got a four-day weekend starting on Thursday, I think a trip out shopping is in order. While I’m there, I should probably get a few last Christmas prezzies too.

It’s Friday again! This week seems to have gone rather quickly, much as they all tend to do these days. I hate being constantly reminded by the elder generations that time “only gets quicker as you get older”, when even at the ripe old age of 25, time seems to passing at a blistering pace. Having said that, of course, I’m pretty sure the only thing I’d do with a few extra hours in the day is sleep more.

Well apparently, the Bank Of England is thinking about cutting interest rates again, this time to 2%. Which in theory, should be good news. Although we all know what happened last time – some of the banks decided they’d pass the savings onto their customers (but not in full, you understand, oh no) and some of the banks won’t pass any savings onto their customers at all. Which kind of defeats the purpose. Those banks will no doubt keep their own interest rates at the same level, meaning more money for them, but it’ll still leave a large proportion of home-owners with a hefty mortgage to pay each month. Again, it comes down to greed.

I finally got round to watching Wall-E last night. I’d previously seen the first two thirds or so, but got interupted and didn’t manage to see the end. But last night I made the effort, and what a cracking film it is too. It’s what kids films are all about!

Excellent use of the English language, there.
I think I overdid it at the gym last night. Although I was only there for 45 minutes, I’ve managed to pull a ligament (or a tendon, or whatever you call them) in my left arm, so now I’m unable to straighten my arm out fully. I guess I’ll just have to keep it active in the hopes that it doesn’t seize up completely, which can be difficult when you’re in a typical 9-to-5 office job. It always seems to be that particular tendon that I pull too. There must be something in my left arm that’s not quite as strong as it is in my right, as I don’t seem to have the same trouble in my right arm.
